Larry Sandefer has handled well over 5,000 criminal cases. After over 30 years in criminal law in Florida, Mr. Sandefer is familiar with and has worked often with the Judges and prosecutors assigned to the criminal and civil courts.
He is a former prosecutor where he acted as Lead Trial attorney and Division Director. Larry was one of the first attorneys in Florida to become Board Certified in criminal trial law by the Florida Bar and is the only criminal defense attorney in the Sixth Judiccial of Florida who has been continually board certified for over 25 years. He has been recognized in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers in America and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. He has tried over 200 jury trials including over 20 murder trials, multi-jurisdictional drug and homicide conspiracies, drug trafficking, drug sales and possessions, sexual offenses and computer offenses, arson, white collar crimes, DUI, DUI Manslaughter, kidnapping, fraud, burglary, resisting arrest, aggravated battery, domestic violence, and all types of felonies and misdemeanors. As a division director at the state attorneys office he supervised and trained felony and misdemeanor trial attorneys and handled major cases. He was on the homicide response team called out to advise the police at murder scenes. He has maintained his board certification since 1987.
